I am very big on characterization, so expect me to really help out if you fear your characters are OOC.
I am a quick worker, so if you need a beta-reader for something you want to post ASAP, I'm your girl. :)
I will act as a beta-reader for basically anything movie, game, television show, or book related. However, if you check my profile, I have my favorites listed, and am more likely to do better at those types of stories. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm pretty good with sentence structure and grammar as well as characterization. I am good at editing out unnecessary junk from descriptions and adding flare to areas that seem dull. I'm also good at adding tension and drama to a story, so if you're worried that your fiction seems too rushed, I can definitely help. :) |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm poor when it comes to apostrophe's. I can never figure them out and when to use them. Other than that, my spelling and grammar is very good. While I am told that I write good humor, I don't think I do. Therefore, if you ask me to 'add more humor' to your story, I may struggle a bit. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Action/Adventure stories with romance. I also thoroughly enjoy horror/macabre, and anything tragic is amazing. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Take a look at my profile page and take note of the two romantic pairings at the bottom of my profile. I refuse to work on anything that consists of those two pairings. Also, I am not a fan of strictly political based stories, and so I won't be the best help in those areas. |
