Hey, Hoverbike Girl here! I've been with this site for a few years, as just an author, but I think I'm ready to offer my services as a betareader! I can't say I have much experience, but I'm hoping some will give me a chance to show what I can do.

I get good grades at English grammar in school, so when I read a story, I always look for correct spelling, words, punctuation, etc. I also look for good descriptions and clarity in a work. I also look closely at character interaction and try to determine whether the characters are acting in-character or not.

When I work on a story, sometimes I miss small details or leave loose ends that could mess up the plot. I want this to happen as little as possible, so I will need the help of the author I'm betareading for to make sure of that.

I enjoy adventure, mystery, and drama stories a lot, especially the ones that have me hooked from the get-go. I can enjoy some romances, but only if it's a pair I'm fine with. Stories about friendship are enjoyable for me too.

I'm not very big on horror stories, as those tend to get too gory. I also can't enjoy any story with curse words. If it has a few mild ones, I might tolerate it. If it's filled to the brim with various ones, I steer clear of it. I also find yaoi/yuri disgusting. So if your story fits at least one of the above, don't bother asking me to betaread.
