Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm happy to work with anyone who has interest in a beta reader. I'm probably most useful in the CSI, CSI New York, Avatar, Degrassi, and Gilmore Girls fandoms but I'd be glad to try anything out. The only expectation I have of anyone who wants to acquire my services is that you're willing to accept critique on your work, which I'm sure you are. My style is very adaptable to suit the needs of anyone who wants to work with me. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Plot, continuity, formatting, and canon. If I don't know about something that you need help with I'm absolutely willing to do research and learn. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm no good with betaing foreign languages or poetry fics. I also have a habit of losing interest in working with someone if they don't learn from their mistakes. Lastly I have problems starting on stories half way through sometimes. I generally want to work with a person from the start. I'm willing to work past that though. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'll work with anything. That is, I'll try anything once. Slash and rated X work won't bother me. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Grillows or Catnip. Anything else is fine. |
