I have never officially been a beta-reader, but as a beta-reader I would proofread and suggest improvements. I am never harsh or critical. I only expect that you treat me with the same respect that I treat you.

I am an excellent speller and I consider myself very accurate in proper grammar/punctuation. My strengths lie in dialogue and descriptive writing.

As a writer, my weakness is most definitely not sticking to my projected outline. I tend to get new ideas and veer off course at times. Of course, I've improved on this over years of experience, but I think all of us as writers sometimes get a little overly excited and go with a new idea without thinking it through.

I am very experienced in the humor, drama and romance genres. I am knowledgeable in many fandoms which can be found on my profile. I would prefer to stay within these so that I can properly advise and assess your story.

The only stories that I would prefer not to betaread are ones that are outside of what I am familiar with. For example, I know nothing about the T.V. Show The Office, so I would not be a good choice for that particular category.
