Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm a fiction - once fan fiction at one point - writer going by the pen name of "LuigiGirl-22". As you may know by reading my profile; I don't write fanfiction any longer, but I'm still available for Beta-ing. (You can also find me on Fictionpress.com; I've transferred over to there.) I'm focusing more on writing things that are my own now; rather than using characters already created by other people. But I'm still beta-ing.
I'm a huge fan of Mario, mainly the Paper Mario series (except for Super Paper Mario). I sometimes write some of my own work, which isn't based on anything.
Most of my work is written in First Person (ex. I, me), as it is known that I have great strength in that area - but I don't mind Third Person, either.
I'm not here to make sure you become the best fanfiction writer, everyone has their own opinions. I'm only here to give you suggestions to get unstumped, or give you encouragement, and edit any grammar/spelling issues that may occur - I'm mainly here to read over your work and give you tips.

My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I mainly excel in First Person. I'm decent with my spelling and grammar, that sort of thing. I enjoy writing some dark things; things with confusing twists and stuff like that. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I lack slightly in description, in comparison to some very skilled authors here; but overall, I'm decent. I have trouble writing in certain character roles; and have a slightly difficult time in developing personalities and characters. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Genres: Romance, Hurt/Comfort, Friendship, General, Poetry, Suspense, Horror, and Tragedy... List goes on; I do everything except Sci-Fi.
I prefer Romance, Hurt/Comfort, or Friendship out of that list, though.
Also, I will look over Shakespearean fanfiction of the following plays:
Romeo & Juliet
Much Ado About Nothing
Hamlet
The Merchant of Venice
This is because I'm yet to read the others, but once I do, I'll add them to the list. |
