I am an unrepentant bookworm and anime fanatic. Most of my fandoms are listed in my preferences, but if you want to ask me about one that's not there, go ahead: I may have just forgotten to add it.

Generally, my biggest strength is flow. I can usually get right into a story, so if something doesn't feel quite right I generally pick up on it. My grammar is fairly good, though I sometimes miss tiny details. One thing that I'm excellent at is catching misuse of words like "their" "there" and "they're."

I'm also pretty good at spotting plot holes. (Don't judge my own work for this, as it's much easier for me when I haven't actually written it.) Generally, I try to familiarize myself with the canon before taking any beta requests so that I can easily nip any out-of-character issues in the bud.

As I said, some tiny grammatical errors will slip through my radar. I'm not any form of god, after all; I can't be perfect. Also, I'm currently in college; as such, I do have issues with time. Plus, I can be a bit stubborn if my suggestions are ignored.

It's not so much what I prefer as what's not my cup of tea. I'll look at almost anything; that includes yaoi/yuri, crossovers, AU, etc. I love stories that twist some part of the canon, as you can probably tell from my own stories.

While I do like crossovers, if there are too many fandoms involved or if the premise appears too loosely fabricated I won't take it. Other than that, I won't take anything from a fandom I'm not familiar with. I just don't think I can be an accurate judge of your writing if I don't have a clue of the context. (On the other hand, if you can convince me to rush out and read/watch whatever fandom it is, then I might consider it.)
