Hello, my name is Melissa and I am a sophomore in high school. I love to write stories a lot in my free time, but am too shy to publish or post very many of them on here. Instead, I like to help others improve their writing and to give them different ideas. This is why I wanted to become a beta-reader. =) Please contact me!

I like to think that I'm good at spelling and grammar (I occasionally slip up! But who doesn't?!). I can be creative and really help add plot twists and ideas to the story... though sometimes I can be dry of creativity -pokes weaknesses- It all depends on how I'm feeling, but I'm usually in a pretty good mood.

I tend to rush and miss things, but will often check over my work multiple times. I can sometimes be nitpicky so to speak, especially if I have a hard time figuring out what to constructively tell you.

Also, sometimes I need an extra push or reminder in order to keep me on track with beta-ing. I can get lazy.

The level of my creativity depends on the plot/subject/whatever of your story. Sometimes I'm really good at helping people out of tough spots in their story! Sometimes I'm not... usually we can work out something though xD

I would prefer to beta a story from a fandom that I'm familiar, though it isn't necessarily required. Don't be afraid to ask =) I have no limits as far as ratings go. If I'm uncomfortable with something, I'll tell you.

It doesn't matter if it's a chapter story or a one-shot either =)

Eh, no limits really. Ask and I'll let you know if I can/want to do it. I'll rarely say no, however =P Whether it's slash, straight, violent, depressing, fluff, or whatever, I'll read it xD Probably.
