I like reading, and I like writing. I've attended quite a few creative writing workshops, poetry and prose both, and I was an English Literature student who wrote fanfiction in her spare time. I'm a University student now, who still writes fanfiction in her spare time.

If I beta your work, I'll point out mistakes and offer ideas.
I'll be honest- if I think it's good, I'll tell you why. If I think it's not so good, I'll point out what I don't like, why I don't like it, and suggest how you can improve it- although the choice is yours whether you take in my suggestions or not.
If you do, that's great. If you don't, oh well.

In short, I'll try to be everything I like in a beta-reader for you.

I'm good at spelling, and due to being a total and complete bibliophile, I have a large vocabularly. I'm a writer myself, so I know how hard it can be. I've done workshops and learnt how to write from authors, poets and people who just like to put words on pages. I research things, and if I like something, I'll try to find as much information about it as I can.

I'm not afraid to write about things that may be controversial- homosexuality, drugs, gore, violence... if it has a purpose and a reason in your work, I'll try to help you with it the best I can.

I'm a mature person. I'm not put off by hard work. I try as hard as I can.

Writing is one of my most passionate loves, and I'll try to be as faithful to her as I can.

My grammar can be quirky at times, and I won't be much good with genres I haven't read or written in before.

I am honest. If I don't like it, I will tell you, and though I will attempt not to be critical, I can be blunt at times.

I'm not very good at angst, and I can be overdramatic at times. Also, everything I write seems to take a mature slant- I'm not sure whether this is because I'm older than the average fanfiction writer (who seems to be fifteen, female and still in high school) or because I've just got sex on the brain.

I don't appear to be very good with comedy, as I've not had much experience with it.

I can be too imagery and metaphor based, and a little trippy at times.

Romance. Drama. Horror. Comedy. Angst. Crime. Supernatural. General- all of these are a safe bet. If it's another genre, try me- I'll let you know if I can edit it.

Pretty much anything goes, as long as I've had some experience with it. I've read some things that aren't posted on this site, so if you've got any queries, just let me know.

I will edit any pairing, regardless of gender (i.e FF/MM/FM). I'm fine with explicit content, and controversial things.

Don't mess with the KonoSetsu. I'm sorry, but I am rabid about that pairing.

Otherwise, I won't betaread anything with graphic violence/rape/incest etc without good purpose; if you can justify it through plot, then that's okay.

I won't edit anything that gay-bashes. Ditto racist, bigoted, misogynistic works. Can't do it without indulging in author-bashing.
