Beta Description
Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Well I've written 31 fics, all The Bill. Working on some CSI & Law and Order stuff. Already beta for a few of my friends. Usually when betaing I'll read through a couple chapters at a time, and then make suggestions for improvement. Not many expectations, except that you take into consideration that i do make mistakes from time to time. I don't mind who I work with, especially younger writers, or people who are new to writing.
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Spelling & Grammar, creating characters and descriptive . Recognising when I have too many plots to one story.
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Usually when I'm writing I tend to try to cram too much into one fic, oh and there's a tendancy to get so absorbed in the plot that i forget what I'm supposed to be doing...
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'll beta anything really. Preferably stuff that I have an interest in. The Bill. Any of the CSI's. Law and Order: SVU. Harry Potter. The OC. Desperate Housewives. I'm not fussed.
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Nah, I'm open to reading anything...
