A slave in Stygia mourns his lost title as Prince of Kush, when he meets Conan the Cimmerian, and sees a chance to escape.

A Nemedian thief, a rebellious slave, ancient sorcery and a place no man was ever meant to find. Had the gods destroyed it when they had the chance, perhaps all would not be lost.

A warmongering mercenary leader menaces the small prosperous country Yaralet. Queen Ereshka will not let him take her lands without a fight. But as the battle drags on and Murr's forces wear down Yaralet's defenders she must send for help. Enter Conan.

This follows after Dark Horse's Conan issues 47-50. The former princess now Queen Ereshka muses on her handmaiden, once a waif and thief, Iniri. Oh, how things have changed. Warning: Femslash.
