This is an Islamic take on Jane Eyre.. Am just exploring different possibilities that could have happened with the setup. I've left out jane's childhood and most characters from the book have been removed. She has a family too ;-). There is a little bit of humor, not too much culture involved and its set in Bronte's time period... Am a novice at this so hope you guys like it..

This fanfic is based on lesser-known novel by Charlotte Bronte called Shirley, which is set in 1811-1812, the time of the Napoleonic Wars and the Luddite riots. It's underrated so that's why I'm trying to bring it in. Charlotte's sisters died while she wrote the novel which is why the original is somewhat flawed. I hope to bring out the essence by writing a fanfic.
