A Serbian airship appears beside the Leviathan in the middle of the Pacific Ocean ,requesting supplies for their hungry beasts. The Leviathan cannot afford to take time to land,so Deryn is sent to perform a cargo drop. However, Dr.Barlow has other plans that leave Deryn and Alek stranded on a deserted island. But, is it really deserted?

When Deryn disappears, Alek gets suspicious, but when he finds her beaten and broken in the brig it's going to take more than his friendship to heal her again.

The Germans won the Great War, but left Alek and Deryn fighting as hard as they could. But when our heroes could fight no more, the Clankers absorbed the world. 100 years after the war,three girls in what used to be America have a plan to bring them back.

Germany moves to conquer Europe, Alek becomes Emperor, and America entires the war on the side of Austria-Hungary. Rewritten so please read again if you didn't like it.

So. The inevitable Coffee Shop AU for the LBG series. Right here. Deryn has just moved to London with her mom and gotten a job at Rigby's Café. With civil war broken out in Austria, the young prince had no choice but to flee the country and come to school in London. Fencing teams and Friday night parties, minimum wage and news reporters make for adventures no one expected. Enjoy!

Don't judge me, I haven't read the series in a while. This is set in that awkward period between the second book and the third. So Bovril is a thing, but no one knows Deryn is a Deryn.
