I know it's been a long time since I wrote you last and I'm sorry

Zara has found Charlie's letters and has decided to respond. Ten years later, she writes her letters detailing the events of her life in conjunction with Charlie's. This is her first letter introducing herself and explaining how/ what she's going to do.

"Charlie told me once that writing letters helped him at times when he was at his lowest or just needed someone to listen. I thought it was a good idea." Patrick writes a letter to Brad.

I read The Perks of Being a Wallflower as if I am the one getting letters from Charlie. Every reader should assume this role, and respond accordingly to the letters they receieved from such a uniquely pure friend. This is what I would have said.

Charlie turns 17 and Sam returns home to see him again.

Events unravel, and Charlie feels a need to reconnect with Sam. At the same time, depression creeps its way into the teenage boy's life, worrying everyone including Sam.

For a second, I no longer felt lost. Actually…I never felt so found. Sam/Charlie.

Charlie is a junior in high school, and has come to visit Sam at college. One-shot, unless I decide to write another chapter. Rated T for some sexual content. Some shots mimic Stephen Chbosky's writing.
