They say autumn is a new beginning a time of reflection of the past and what was before. This poem is set when Anton is in the classroom of his college and is reflecting on how autumn affects people and nature and how this season signifies a new start.

What if Patty had ran away with Anton?

Patty feels like she's going through the motions in life but will a mysterious letter followed by a phone call change everything? Will Patty be able to face her past? The very thing she's been running from?
