A teen angst poem. "You hold onto the pain and depression/ but if confronted, can't make a confession/ You hide your emotions under your tongue/ You once woke up and realized it stung..."

This is more personal than anything else, and was inspired by the novel Wintergirls. Rated T for no other reason than content involving anorexia- which should be assumed if you're reading a Wintergirls fanfiction. Oneshot. Written in the hours just before night turns to morning; when I let my monsters come out and play.

She knew it hurt, she could feel it aching inside of her, but she wouldn't admit it because that would just cause more pain. And she had had enough of that.

Cassie the name is just a coincidence, it has nothing to do with Cassie in the book wants to die... This is the first thing I've written, let me know what you think.
