One day, you are just walking through the street wearing your "I'm a superhero" shirt, and then next thing you know, you get arrested for lying! The Fifty Seventh Century sucks. Five year olds getting thrown in jail."

So a bunch of artists on Amiright (a parody writing web site that you should totally check out) did a compilation of The Beatles "White Album" with every song being about Super Heroes and this is a parody of "Martha My Dear" about Aquaman.

With National Poetry Writers' Month in full swing, we were given a prompt to write a poem from the point of view of a superhero. Guess which one I picked? (I mean, seriously guys, it's right up there in the sub-category name.) A tribute to the Aquaman of the Silver Age. DISCLAIMER: I call Arthur's mom a mermaid. I know she's Atlantean. It's called poetic license.
