In the aftermath of magic making it's mysterious appearance in Storybrooke, Regina - now back to full strength and with nothing to lose - does all in her power to keep the town under her yoke. Rumpelstiltksin continues to operate on his own agenda, leaving the citizens to fend for themselves against the Mad Queen in the never ending war of good and evil.

After the finale, Emma owes a few a people apologies. Problem is, one of them will get her more than she bargained for. This is, of course, partially Henry's fault.

Emma thought he had died. Or that, at least, he had stayed on the other side of the Looking Glass. But, as she's starting to make her life right, she starts to understand he never left her. And that's how it began. Damn hormones!

"Emma, I don't even think you realize how special you are and how insignificant I am." Emma and Jefferson discuss what their lives would have been like in FTL, forcing them both to be vulnerable to each other.

The curse is broken and Jefferson wants to take his daughter home. Emma, dealing with the truth of her parentage and her own magic, gets caught up in Jefferson's strange life. But burgeoning attraction and a fragile trust are all threatened by an awful truth. Discovering other worlds, the hunt for lost children and missing memories force Emma and Jefferson into an uneasy alliance.

I was left wanting so much more after the Mad hatter episode. I took Emma's tea party as a starting point. Now Emma is trapped with the mad hatter, after the loss of Alice and Graham maybe both are looking for someone.

After a stint of late-night madness, Emma attempts to take care of Jefferson, which leads to somewhat of an epiphany. Jefferson/Emma.

Emma comes home, the night after she and Mary Margaret are kidnapped, to find Jefferson sat on her sofa. They now have a problem: he keeps being pulled back there. Mad Swan.
