Where did the Flying Dutchman come from and how did Jones become its captain?

A take on Calypso's point of view through out the trilogy. Just a poem bit.

Davy Jones didn’t like it when Calypso was bound, and swears that he will free her. He didn’t expect it to take as long as it was, nor did he expect to have to ask his grandson and great-grandson- both of whom are named William Turner- for help.

Davy Jones was given the charge of ferrying souls that died at sea to the "other side." He was given the task by his true love, Calypso, who promised to meet him after ten years.

Just before the maelstrom...
