Jack in a right state and in his depression he falls back on his addiction and something happens that wasn't quite planned. He gets unexpected help but will it be on time?

Post-Season 3 (three months later): Jack finds himself distracted by a woman, unexpectedly, his former boss' daughter. Is he prepared for another relationship after a failed one with Kate?

AU JackNina encounter, set in S3. REVISITED prior to the launch of a prequel, 'Interrogation Series', coming up soon. Some minor and at least one major change to the storyline, entirely new epilogue.
