A short story about the night after the events of Cave Story, following the Best Ending.

Yet another novelization of Cave Story, I've been wanting to do this for a while. So please, constructive criticism is always welcome. There will be a few changes to make it more readable, but overall, it will be the same as the game.

Based off the Best Ending. A new crown holder has come by and has taken the indestructible crown. How could the crown be indestructible? Wasn't it destroyed? How could anyone find it? Everybody goes to the island to try and solve this mystery.

This is a basically a retelling of Cave Story, but with a lot more detail and history. It doesn't always conform to the storyline of the original Cave Story; I basically used that storyline as inspiration for this one.

With his memories fragmented, many things no longer make much sense to Quote. A simple answer to a rather complex question causes no end of trouble for the two little scout robots.

Right from day one, fate had it in for the two scout robots. Assigned to battle evil itself, will they succeed, or will they fail?

The Three Laws of Robotics governs the way that a robot lives and serves humans. With Quote's memories fragmented, he is the only one able to disobey them. Curly Brace has a new mission now, to save him from the stranger inside himself.
