Based off the story of the kingdom Balder from Dark Souls. This story follows the knight Rendal as he grows from a boy into becoming king.

Big Hat Logan leaves Griggs in order to fulfil the destiny that will later destroy him, and darkness follows close behind. What was contained within the Archives was better left unread, but read it Logan did despite the warnings he so foolishly ignored. If only he had listened. Disclaimer: I do not own Dark Souls. This is purely fan based. This story was written in memory of Logan.

A short oneshot for the various dangers a darkwraith faces in the various hunting grounds. it was originally meant to be somewhat poetic, and in the final phrase, involving the kiln, I believe that shows through, though I can't be sure. please Read and Review.
