I've enjoyed myself trying to write out the original Fallout II game in story form. I've added some elements and changed others so that there's still some surprises in it. Contains spoilers!

I had always lived within the confines of VaultTec Vault 123. I knew nothing of the world beyond that metal door, of what was once the state of Connecticut. But now that the door is open, the world is open as well. Frankly, I liked the vault much better.

This is my first attempt at writing a story/novel. I was inspired by a cross between Fallout 3 and a post-rock band that I won't mention here. This will be fallout-like, and use many concepts in fallout, however it has been moved to a modern setting.
