Saw Brokeback Mountain late - Christmas this year. Was surprised the effect it had on me. It was a long movie covering a 20 year time span but seemed to leave out scenes at various pivotal moments. This story takes place from the final scene with Jack and Ennis together beside the lake.

Junior has a not quite fight with her mother that fuels in her a need to know the truth behind her parents' divorce. The only person she thinks might tell her is her father's best friend, so she gives him a call. From there, everything changes.

Loved Brokeback Mountain. Often wondered what it was with Jack and Randall. Thought I would do a little one shot looking at their relationship. This scene takes place in Texas just before Jack leaves for a fishing trip back in Wyoming.

At the end of their summer together, Jack and Ennis ask each other if they'll be there again the next summer. Ennis says probably not. Jack says probably-unless the army gets him. Of course, he doesn't get drafted, 4 years pass, the story goes on. But what if Jack's life had taken a detour and he had been drafted? How do things change with Vietnam in the picture?

Written for the Superbowl mini-challenge on LJ. An AU/AU set in 2013, Jack is playing in the Superbowl and being watched by the man he loves. He makes an important decision regarding his life and career, fuelled by his love for Ennis Del Mar.

I recently watched Brokeback Mountain again for the first time in years. It really touched me and inspired this short little one shot. Ennis looks back and remembers the good and bad. Hope you enjoy it and please review.

Very short little thing I wrote about Brokeback Mountain because I needed some kind of catharsis after that emotional wring out. If anybody deserves some kind of afterlife, it's Jack and Ennis.

A short drabble inspired by the movie Brokeback Mountain

Bobby, Junior, and Jenny go out trick or treating while their fathers stay home. Set in the same AU scenario as my story Force of Nature, but you need not have read that to enjoy this.

It's been just shy of thirty years since Jack died, the world has moved on, and in some ways, so has Ennis-but in plenty of other ways, he really hasn't. When Jack's granddaughter shows up, looking to find out about her grandfather and looking very much like a female version of him, Ennis is pulled out of his comfort zone. There is just something about those Twists.

Canon One-Shot taking place in the fall of 1983. A birthday party for Junior. The party goes well. The events immediately following the party do not. Angst. Character death.
