This is a story about a kid growing up in a world filled with Darkness and how he and his friends he meets through life live it all.

Angst and John Murdoch/Daniel Schreber slash. Schreber knows that Murdoch should really be with his wife, even if she isn't the same person anymore. But it doesn't stop him from falling in love anyway.

John Murdoch wasn't the first person to stay awake during a Tuning, but Schreber wasn't allowed to remember his mistakes. This was written as part of the background of a character of mine, but I think it stands well enough on its own.
