E.T. comes to Elliot during his last moments on Earth.

A colony of evil aliens come to Earth in search of E.T. and capture Elliot, Michael, and Gertie.

When an epidemic threatens E.T.'s home planet he with Elliot and Keys must go to South Africa to get the only cure for it.

When Gertie misses her field trip to the Planetarium, E.T. takes her on a ride through the solar system and to the farthest reaches of the Universe.

A colony of highly superior aliens are fed up with the wars, crimes, and terrorisms of human beings and decide to reestablish them as a species. Meanwhile E.T. returns to Earth to visit Elliot on his wedding day.

Elliot is becoming more and more depressingly sad without his one true friend E.T. He wishes that he could see his friend more. Will he befriend the Extra-Terrestrial once more?

It has been three years since E.T.'s last visit and Elliot is feeling down in life and wishes to see him again and his wish is granted. Now an evil government agent is undercover to eliminate E.T.. Will all be well?

Elliot, Michael, and Gertie invite their friend E.T. to spend Christmas with them and Gertie tries to find the right present to give to E.T. while Michael tries to date an autistic girl, and Elliot hopes he will see his father again on Christmas day.

My interpretation of E.T.'s death and resurrection of his heart light being a blackhole then a newborn star. Taken from my own personal expieriences of depression.

E. T. the ExtraTerrestrial. The last scene told from the point of view of the main character as he says goodbye to all his friends and reflects on the time he has spent with them.
