This starts where the movie ended. Abby and Owen move to Los Angeles and consummate their love in a motel. However, Abby gets sick for the first time 5 weeks later. Owen's DNA had got inside one of Abby's eggs. A half vampire baby was the result.

Owen and Abby became close friends since the day they met and always got through anything together, but when Abby starts to act strange, Owen begins to question whether their relationship will last through this new obstacle.

A little poem I thought to make when I saw the scene Owen was crying because Abby had left the night before.

This is basically just a literary version of the ice skating rink scene from Let Me In 2010 whereby Kenny gets hit in the ear by Owen with a pole.
