Emily Von Trapp is the the second oldest child and her father doesn't talk to her and she doesn't talk to him. When everything seemed to get better with Maria here, the relationship between her and her father didn't get better like it did with her sibs.

AU: March 1939. Captain Von Trapp grieves for his late wife Maria while around him the Nazis consolidate their control over his beloved Austria. Will he find new love in history's age of hatred? Or will the Third Reich destroy him and all of his dreams?

Whistles and pinecones were when they first fell in love. Edelweiss and the Laendler were when they were in love, but couldn't do anything. The Gazebo and the wedding were when they were together. What are their thoughts? Captain & Maria POV. Georg/Maria

When the children are away, Maria and the Captain will play. Beginning shortly after the Captain asks Maria to stay, this is a twist on how these two beloved characters would behave if there wasn't a soul around to interrupt them at the Villa Von Trapp.
