Macready didn't destroy all of The Thing like he thought he did. somehow a piece survived. But how? and what will happen? one shot

We all know what happens to those infected by the Thing. Whether by physical contact or being bitten by it, it will consume all. Little remains of the Antarctic outpost, but a team of researchers are sent back to investigate. One by one, they are all consumed by the Thing. One man survives, but not unscathed. He has been infected, and must fight the Thing within his own body.

Kate is able to convince the Russians of what happened at the Norwegian base and is able to rescue MacReady in the nick of time. What will happen though when an unexpected visitor arrives at Vostok #12? This is a 'straight' sequel to both the 1982 and 2011 films. Currently rated T but may go to M in later chapters.
