At the age of 18, Dorothy once again goes to the magical land of Oz. Will she meet her old friends again, or will she find new ones? And will her newborn curiousity for her parents death be stilled? And why is Oz a so much darker place than when she last visited?

Summary: Kay is the granddaughter of Dorothy and was captured by a tornado including her best friends Violet and Lily and landed at the Wonderful land of OZ, but there is a war going on and the Wicked Witch of the West is alive and well and they are the only ones who can help. Can they find the 3 Keys of OZ and fight the Witch, Can they save OZ and who is Kay's Grandfather?

On their way to get the broom from the Wicked Witch of the West, the group end up taking a detour from the Yellow Brick Road while the Scarecrow tries to explain where they are with the map. And for some reason, the Wicked Witch of the West rhymes exactly like Gruntilda Winkybunion, So get ready to put 'em up, put 'em up!

She had been so smart, so bright, and full of happiness. She loved working with the animals, mostly the monkeys. I didn't mean to cause the accident, which I should really refer to as the explosion, but I had been too caught up with my science and her magic, and it happened so very fast that I couldn't stop it. Then I sent her away, told her never to return. Oneshot. Very AU.

I broke into a million pieces ,Each piece, a thousand creases, A memory of my heart, looking up at the stars..."I think I'll miss you most of all," she said tearfully, before I felt her arms wrap around me and her soft lips press against my cheek.

Longing for adventure, they set off back down the yellow brick road to Munchkin Land. There they find not only the beginning of Dorothy's story, but the beginning of another road that leads them to a world far beyond what they ever dreamed to be possible.
