After Thailand: Florence discovers she's pregnant Anatoly goes back to svetlana, but how long can that last?

A left turn changes Florence's life.

Anatoly leaves Svetlana once and for all, ready to go to Florence and love her instead. When he gets there, he has a bit of a surprise waiting for him. Set about 2-3 months after the 2nd World Chess Championship. Its alot better then it sounds, I promise

Svetlana is pregnant, Anatoly's children are not his, and Leonid is in love with his best friend's wife. That is not even half of this storiy's drama. Mostly told from Florence's ponit of view.

No one ever gave Freddie a chance. So when Florence did, of course he'd get attached. And of course it'd hurt all the more when she was taken from him, his queen's heart captured by his opponent.

It's a boy, maybe nine or ten, sitting on the worn rug of his bedroom. It's a boy, twelve now, watching from the shadows as his father limps out the door. It's a man, but still with that boy's heart.
