The day before Anatoly defects back to the U.S.S.R., Svetlana does not know how to react to the fact that her husband will be with his family after more than a year. Svetlana reflects slightly bitterly on her failed marriage. Anatoly has gone for good, leaving two fatherless children behind for her to take care of. As far as she's concerned, they're the only good thing to come out of it all. Hopeful angst? Oneshot.
