A week turns into a lifetime for Mary & Bert. Set after the musical ends.

I wrote this after watching the movie. "He was a street performer, a chalk artist, a kite sailsman, a chimney sweep. He wasn't rich, but he had freedom. He was free to sing and dance and play all day. But, Bert wondered, was he free to love?" Review if you're not crabby!

As Bert heads home for the night, he's got an odd feeling of being watched, but writes it off as a trick of the mind. After all, he's had a long day. Now, if only Mary would make it easier to stop thinking about her all the time by not hanging around on his rooftop and taking quick peeks into his bedroom window before she heads off into the night.
