Why is Count von Krolock, a centuries old vampire, interested in Sarah? He is an educated nobleman, she is a simple village girl. It must be something more, something deeper….

In the Russian version of the show, Herbert (Kirill Gordeev) dances with King Ludwig II (Rostislav Kolpakov). Those two seem honestly to be very fond of each other, which begged for a fic about how they'd met.

Graf von Krolock is not at all in good mood before the ball, and decides to try one of Herbert's remedies. Inspired by some fan-art drawing.

If you've seen Tanz der Vampire in Hamburg you'll have seen the leather breeches that Herbert wears in the finale. A friend of mine asked me how I thought he got out of them afterwards because they were inhumanly tight. We got a bit hyped and went nuts writing, this story is more of a travesty than those pants!
