I'm clueless...you spoke of the Moriquendi and Thingol, so I'm guessing one of them is of Thingol's folk..thinks back to The Silmarillion Damnit and I've read that twice in 4 months! And you said the violence was left out that accompanies "the smith", so maybe Feanor? Not sure. But I need to know, because now it's bothering me! lol. Great though. Simple, yet beautiful.

Yes i can guee who the characters were and I think it was wonderful. It is lovely to meet someone who loves reading the Silmarillion and all Tolkien's works as much as I do. Belthronding 2002-10-10 ch 1,	abuseThe characters, I've guessed who they are, are in canon and I agree they'd prefer starlight more than sunlight or moonlight, as they are Moriquendi.. Very nicely depicted.
Finch 2002-10-07 ch 1,	abuseLovely and fascinating story. And yes, I think I can even guess who the forester is, and who his sun is, if he lives on for many ages of the Elves (the smith is easier). Compliments, too for the symbolism of the swords, and of the various lights and what they stand for.

Considering the violence and anger of his last deeds, it is refreshing to see him depicted as the passionate genius he must have been. One who is most definitely worthy of the affections of our favourite "silver forester." Well done! One can only hope for presents as wonderful as this. :)
