Very nice! I have come to love Poppy's character, myself. I enjoy seeing her paired with Snape, too, and in this vignette, I get a real sense of both her inner life and Snape's, even though his is seen through her eyes.

Since pairing them myself in a couple of fics (they're on TPP, not ffnet), I've looked for other stories featuring Severus and Poppy, whether as friends or as lovers, and have found very few. I'm very glad to have found your fic! (I added it to my C2 here.)
