You portrayed Lina and Zelgadis very well. There aren't a lot of Zel/Lina fics out there, and I thank you for making a well written one.

good story but i and my friends reading this story didn't like the ending it was way to SAD! I recommend you put a happy alternate ending.

I don't blame you for not continuing past part five. I probably would have left it off at that point as well. Zel was acting rather pitiful towards the end - I thought he could have conducted himself with a little more dignity, but alas. It doesn't really matter anyway - it was a solid story.

The whole thing with Xellos was a little weird - not bad, but weird. I really sort of expected Xel to do something far more evil - like somehow get Amelia to run away with HIM or something. Oh, well - it's all good.

My my, wasn't Sylphiel fast on the uptake. Lina must be really wearing her heart on her sleeve.

And Xellos, well - initially I had an idea where this fic was going, but all bets are off.

Well, I would have to say that I think Lina spazzed out far more than was necessary, considering what Zel had to say. But, very nice touch about how Zel got his cure. Promotions for everyone!

That last paragraph - at first I thought you were going to let me down, but as long as you paired her confession with her screaming that he was a son of a ** - it's all good.

That was the perfect story with the perfect ending. You are such a talented writer who can really evoke emotions from readers. I seriously cried when I read it all. ^_^ As much as I love a happy ending, I wouldn't have this done one bit differently. Sometimes a little tragedy brings the story to life, and makes it more real. I love it, can't praise it enough. ^_^

YEA! You finally finished it! I remember reading this on a website devoted to Zel/Lina fanfiction. It was up to chapter 3 or some number, I believe, but it wasn't finished and it was aggrivating to see it so. I'm glad to see that you did finish it, though!

Poor, poor Zel. . . should have taken his medication I guess ^_^, Anywho, you did a real nice job on this. I was hoping it would be a little longer but, I suppose, with the story you presented, it was just the right length. Nice job. Hope to see more from you soon!

oh, that was a HORRIBLE ending! tell me there's an epilogue that crosses Slayers with some other story where Lina finds another life, because that's just horrible. tho that's a little far fetched and quite a bit to ask for ^^; huh. can't win for losin'. anyway, that was so well written! i felt the sadness and the ecstasy and the happiness and the despair. but i'm really going to miss this story...yup yup yup. i'm really going to miss this story, and that's all i'm going to say, even though i've already said a whole lot ^^; anyway, i'll see ya next chapter of some L/Z story...bai bai!

Wow, that isn't how I expected it to end. I seriously thought you would put Zel and Lina together somehow. Very sad, but very realistic. Lina's is not the kind of person to take that kind of sh*t from anyone, even the man she loves.

It's good to see the fiercely independent Lina who loves herself enough to reject him. Kind of sad though, I think part of me really was hoping they'd get together in the end. Lina would have lost a part of herself in the process, but you still, deep down, want to see two people who love each other get together, you know!

Ugh, I'm being especially philosophical today. Anyway, great story, I look forward to seeing more from you! :)
