Not bad, although this is turning into a really long goodbye scene! All kidding aside, again you've done well to capture mood in the little details, like Simon and Victoria not being able to physically reach each other, Victoria not being able to maneuver her chair, etc. Everything is very frustrating for these two right now.

I'm a bit nervous about Victoria's history as a "cheap **". Stories where original characters overcome shady pasts often devolve into Mary Sue fics. You're a good enough writer to pull it off without getting M.S.-ish, though. Just be careful.

Well, chapter 12 is finally out. Interesting that you decided to go with Victoria's POV, but I know what you're saying. Sometimes you need to switch perspectives to get things to flow nicely.
Nice tension, as well as internal conflict for Victoria. I wonder what Simon would say, but he's pretty forgiving (hey, if Matt can go out with the class harlot, Simon can date one too).
So the real question is, will the ghost of his twin return? And will he ever confront his family about the truth?
