Loved this story. I am really glad that I came upon it once it was completed as I started to quit at the beginning. Love Snape (almost all of them really) to read about his torture and what it was doing to Harry. I am glad that I could skip to a couple of chapters ahead and see if it would remain so brutal. I am soooo happy that I stuck with it as it was well worthwhile. Too bad they did not treat SS this way in the movie, even if they had shown it being done after his death. He should have had a bigger part, one such as the part you gave him. Great read. Thanks for sharing. p

Aww, this was such a cute fic! Well, the ending was sweet, but the beginning made me want to kill Voldemort over and over and made me cry for poor Severus. I'm glad that at the end he decided to forgive himself and to start anew, as he deserved to have a fresh start.

I was surprised at the romance between Minerva and Severus, it's an interesting one. I liked how she called him an attractive younger man, I think he's gorgeous, but then again, I've always had a thing for dark haired men who have beautiful voices and scarred pasts. And Severus is just my age, 37.

The only thing I would have liked to see more of was some more Severus and Harry interaction. I think that would have been beneficial to both of them. But then again, Sev and Harry mentor/guardian fics are my passion.

I'd also wondered what Albus' reacton would be to Minerva & Sev together.

This was a great fic!

I think you could write a small sequel to this, maybe showing more of how Severus had to readjust to his new outlook on life.
