ow... sweet ending :) really hate malfoy haha. nicely written, beautiful! you can really write a novel. maybe you can change the characters name and then use a story line similar? haha sure you will make millions and millions. i currently writing a fanfic and it happened that a few scenes are similar to your story haha hope you wouldn't mind :P

I LOVED this story! I think it was extremely well-written, and the plot twist that got them married was much more believable than the Marriage Law that is usually the premise. And you did a great job of crafting the prophesy and making it appropriately misleading. I do love well-designed surprises, and the burnt feathers was nicely done. I was looking forward to seeing Hermione's meeting with Severus' mother - I'm hoping that's a one-shot you've written (or maybe in the future?). :) You wrote a beautiful story, and I will eagerly look for more that you have written.

This was the most wonderful fan fiction I've read, ever. The events were so amazing; I'm very surprised at how accurate you were about some of the things we don't learn about until the later books. Everything is so believable, which I find is a major flaw in most all of the fanfictions I read here. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this pairing, and you made it make sense without all the unwarranted sex. You wrote a true love story, not a lust story like 99% of the people here. I was so excited about this story I've been reading it every chance that I had for the last couple of days. I can't tell you how wonderful and in character your story is; I will always be a Hermione Granger/Severus Snape shipper now. I really can't tell you how wonderful this is; I really wish that you had written the last book of the Harry Potter series; not to discredit JKR, but her ridiculous epilogue and the unnecessary amount of people she killed off in the seventh book was nowhere near as touching as your true love story. As much as JKR talked about the strength of love in the face of evil, her love scenes could never be as touching as yours are. You built up such great suspense; thank you again and again for not making this a sex story. There is real (ignore the pun) chemistry between these two, and you really captured who they are as people. I am now and forever in love with Severus Snape, when beforehand I really just couldn't stand him as a character. I enjoyed every little thing about this, and it conjured up such great emotion in me that I'll never forget this story. Thank you for bringing this relationship to life; much love!

This story is marvelous! (I'm tired of saying amazing over and over). I fell in luv with your writing. The plot is well developed and all loose ends tied, so I was very satisfied with the ending. I hate having that incomplete feeling. Thanks :-)

Just wanted to say that I read this story when it came out & I pretty much reread it every year. It's a favorite. Thanks for writing it!

You had me enthralled, with a delirious situation, lovely dialogue and the slow, slow build-up of eroticism. The sex scenes were handled sensuously while being explicit and true to the supposed emotions. However, somewhere beginning in Chapter 10, the shopping for maternity clothing in Diagon Alley, Snape's character began shifting. For me, Snape went out-of-character and I could no longer see this male figure as 'Snape.' I've re-read chapters 1 through 9 several times and treasure the potential of these two liminal people. Well done!

I loved it. It was well written and very good.

This is an amazing story. I think my favorite part out of all 22 chapters was the part where Dumbledore gives Snape the nail. Escpecially when he explains the myriad of uses it has.
Great story! It was great to go back in the archives and read one that didn't have all the same feel as all the newer fanfics.
