Lovely story. I'm a Kim fangirl myself, and I share the obsession. :) Incidentally, I, too, have always wondered if the mentioned-only-by-name Danny Byrd wouldn't hook up with his best friend's girl. This version of events makes it really believable, and heartbreaking.

I know it may not be totally kosher to review your own story, but someone asked what Ex astris, amor meant. Since it is the 'puch line' I thought people might want to know. Basically it means, in latin, 'From the stars, love'. This is also a play off of the Starfleet Academy credo of 'Ex astris, sciencia', which means 'From the stars, knowledge.' Hopefully this helps!

Hmm, I haven't got a clue what "ex astris, amor" means, but that's really the only "improvement" comment I can make. I think you've done a nice job...tragically ironic, that he was so excited, for this.

Wow! This is a great story. I could feel Libby's and Harry's pain. Their emotions are well-written. If you like Harry, read my story "Seismic Kisses".

Alas, I get another credit! *grins* And an entire paragraph that no one else will get! One thing, though. Where the heck did you get that title? It's weird, but it fits...in a weird way. And you finally took most of the focus in the latter half away from icky Janeway! And how many different ways are you going to refer to me? My costume is going to be so much better than yours! And, hehe, I told you I'd give you a super-long review, and I get to be the first! And Riker is one of my love slaves, I just thought I'd state that. And I would say something that might be helpful in improving your writing, but you already know my views on this one. And every other thing you've written/you will write. I just realized that this site needs a little button that would make the review for the author's eyes only, and that way we could avoid the confusion this review will evoke.
