A good piece to remind us all that everyone is important. It's nice how Marcus framed this point without being disrespectful to Stephen. Strong voice and characterization.

Nice Marcus voice, I haven't finished B5 yet but have seen Marcus do his ultimate sacrifice.

One thing is the Doctor's voice, think Stephen would care more about drug addicts because he was formerly one. And that singer.

I liked the little humanitarian bit in the end though, could have been set up just a little differently though.

The characterization of Marcus in this story is very good, but I think Franklin's character is a little off. Franklin was one of the few members of the command staff who did show an interest in the welfare of the lurkers. He opened an (illegal) free clinic in Downbelow in order to help them out. As a doctor Franklin cared for all his patients and did not distinguish between rich or poor, human or alien. (This is the man who even cared about Bester's welfare when he had him as a patient.)

Thank you for a little Marcus to brighten my day. For I guy who never really existed I certainly miss him and he's very 'in character'.

Nice piece, humourous but with a message too. Liked it.

Love any Marcus story - became addicted to the show after the ep when he quotes Shakespeare to Duncan. Liked that you put in that even though the people in the "army of Light" were trying to get rid of the dictators & assorted bad people, they still looked down on the "class" below them, like they weren't real people.

Hope this makes sense.

Good story though - write more (especially with Marcus in them)
