Taunton 2/3/03 . chapter 1 My dear Slef,
My, my, 4am indeed. Lady C said nothing about that, but I'm glad to have met you. You were right about this story, thanks for recommending it to me. I found it to be a very interesting juxtaposition of several unrelated story lines that blend so beautifully together. In 1965, while taking a college course in "writing for radio and television", our class wrote a piece for radio involving an interview between two famous peers. We were facinated to discover that these two gentlemen were both living and working at the same time, despite their differing ages, and, at times, worked on projects within 5 kilometers of one another. The two peers were Michelangelo and DaVinci. Your "keys" gave me the feeling of visiting an old friend. When we aired out piece, I had felt as though we had broached time and looked over their shoulders, much as you have done with "keys". This is good work and your sense of the flowing tember of words is captivating. Please keep it up. Oh, I hadn't forgotten your request...I'll e-mail you about your sword.
