b7-kerravon 2004-05-06 . chapter 5This story was GREAT! Funny, with a plot, and even a surprise ending (and trust me, it's not easy to surprise me...). I also loved the characterization, esp of HP! |
CuriousDreamWeaver 2004-03-13 . chapter 5A very interesting fic! I loved the little twist at the end, it was very well done. A great fic!

 izzybelle 2003-11-02 . chapter 5Hey!
I loved your story (it would have been hilarious if you took that angle, but the way you went with it was good, too!). You're a phenominal writter (though i admitt i don't always know all the words you use). I think that the idea for this particular story was good, but at the same time I can't imagine Malfoy coming up with a plot to kill Voldemort, even if his philosophey is the reason his mother died. By looking at the character I see created by JK Rowling, I think that he would have merely turned on her like Lucias did. But perhaps I'm looking at him in just one layer - mean. I liked the way you dissected his character in this story and thought it very clever. PLEASE WRITE MORE FAN FICS! |
Terra4 2003-07-13 . chapter 5Exquisite, simply exquisite. Brilliant, fantastic, beautiful, great. Urgh, I need more! Seriously, you cannot leave me hanging like this. I *need* to see some more... will Severus let himself be devalued as a spy, will he let it go on like that? If the two spies aren't working together, then they'll both be endlessly endeavoring to gain Voldemort's trust - most of the time making the other spy lose some credibility in the process. That promises to be an interesting game of stealth and survival, sneakiness and cunning. And imagine, if they both plot something rather bold, but in the end, both plots meet and get tangled in a mess where everything, the two carefully crafted plans, are out of control... simply becasue they never consulted each other! "I know I'm high, but it's entirely your fault!" to quote a reviewer of mine... This fic has such - such - potential... Even more so, *you* have potential... You need to write a sequel. And don't tell me I haven't given you any ideas, either!
I'll say it again, brilliant work! This rocks. Write more? |
Rurouni Star 2003-03-24 . chapter 5Wonderful ending! I love ironic twists, and you ended on just the right note. I'm all for a sequel, if you're got it in you! |
Tantz 2003-03-22 . chapter 5That was one of the most innovative and secretive and decidedly intriguing and... disturbing, in a way, stories that I have come across. Very well done, well presented and -something hard lately- unpredictable! Kudos to you! That is hard to pull along with the flow and pace of the story. Well done. *adds you to fav stories* |
bigchumpa 2003-03-07 . chapter 5I love this story!! You really should write a sequel to it!! |
Dinh San 2002-12-11 . chapter 5Good Job Madeleine.
I hope you continue with more "adventures of Draco and the DE"
You did a good job with the plotline only revealing the alliance at the end. Maybe if you added some cliffhangers it would be neat.
Please keep writing and keep up the great work. |
Kenna Hijja 2002-11-25 . chapter 5Wow! What a way to end this!
Dear, this is brilliant - I saw the trap coming, but having Harry and Draco plan to out-Dumbledore Dumbledore while out-Voldemorting Voldemort in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom is one of the most incredible scenes I've read so far. To good for words!
I'm not completely sure I disentangled the genealogy bit correctly - Draco is the son of Lucius' first wife and a muggle? Narcissa found out and he killed her to keep up appearances?
But I really loved the way in which Draco found out about the inherent ordinariness of the Death Eaters - the Hannah Ahrendt quote fits quite well for that - and the parallel way in which Harry sees through Dumbledore. Those two - talk about the alliance from hell ;-)
Wonderful story - a pity it's complete already (*hint*, *hint*) |
Lee 2002-11-02 . chapter 5 I'm so sad to see this end! Please let it be the beginning! Love the dark humor (vomiting and choking curse...funny in a very sick way!). Loved the line, "My dear Professor, there are few people I hate. Lucius just happens to top the list." I also liked how you described Potter and Draco in the bathroom. The chess metaphor is very common, but I liked your spin on it, particularly the "not pawns, but not kings part." Very clever and very true. Looking forward to more!
P.S.- Thanks for explaining the Narcissa bit. It comes out very honest, making Lucius's hatred even more chilling and Draco's feelings toward his father carry even more weight. An excellent story! |
feralshal 2002-11-02 . chapter 5(BTW thanks for reviewing mine!)
OH - MY - GODS! That was SO amazingly brilliant! It's SUCH a Draco Malfoy thing to do, work for no-one but yourself whilst seeming to work for everyone! And just - wow! A great ending to a great story! Well done! |
Perc Mad Hatter 2002-11-01 . chapter 5interesting, another side to harry... |
