Wow...this is quite a grief-stricken one-shot, but one that I wholeheartedly agree is necessary for Simba to go through...I just wish I would have thought of it to place somewhere in my own stories. Ah well, what's done is done. Anyways, incredible job! Love the beginning how you show that even in adulthood, Simba is still the cub we all know and love. Yet you still manage to show us his Kingly side. An excellent read! It has earned a favorite from me!

That was a beautiful story. It sounds exactly like Simba would act, and Zazu sounded like his old self too! I was glad to find a story about Simba confronting his past like that, and the ending was absolutely beautiful. A wonderful story!
