Wow. I can't believe I finished it. The plot was wonderful and it should be because it's 9 years old. I absolutely love this fanfiction and it's definitely the longest one I've read. I salute your work, your baby, it was a nice read.

i began reading stygian solace a few years ago, but when updates took a while to come out, i slowly forgot about it. i remembered it again recently and saw that it was finished, i have now spent the past few weeks reading from the beginning again, right to the end. i am so glad i did. my life wouldnt be as complete if it wasnt for stygian solace. everything about it is just amazing, i never disagreed with anything you wrote and never hated it, i loved every moment of it. kingdom hearts was always one of my favourite games, and now i love it more than ever. im about to replay every game from start to finish and i couldnt be more excited.

i loved all the couples throughout it. i always felt myself longing for sora and riku to just make up already and have sex again! speaking of which, sora never had his turn on top?

i really hope that you are planning a sequel, because the epilogue has left me dying for more.

I'm not sure what to say that could possibly stand up to nine years of epic work, so instead I'll just say: wow.

This chapter was really useful. In the games, the actual process of a world's destruction was never really examined beyond Sora's experience with the end of Destiny Islands. It limited a player's perspective on how the 'tide of darkness' as you call it would have poisoned a world before killing it. Writing this chapter helped to put readers into the the shoes of one who experiences their world being consumed by the darkness.

However, one thing that I wanted to point out about this chapter was the repetitive manner in which you described the world's destruction. It was very detailed but, at the same time, became a bit monotonous to me.

I liked this chapter! I liked how creative you were with China even before it was introduced as a world in KH2. I continue to see small fractures in Sora and Riku's relationship, though. I'm both excited and scared to see what will happen to them.

What a good way to end an incredibly beautiful piece of art.

When I saw this fic finally reached its end, I spent about a month or so reading through SS's entirety: on bus-rides, between classes, during breaks, whatever. It was an awesome journey to re-read everything again, and I remembered why I loved this fic so damn much.

Reading through, the growth in writing is evident, but that's what makes this so unique. And characterizations were eventually matched and almost spot-on (I think I made a previous gripe about Cloud's characterization the first time I read through this).

I am a little saddened that the ending, but it's so fitting for this story that I can't be upset or mad.

I could ramble forever, but congratulations on finishing this. It was totally worth waiting for! c:

I can see how Sora would feel upset that Riku left him out of the plan. I'm sure that will become the rift in their relationship.

Ooh, so the dynamics of Riku as the Keyblade wielder and Sora as his companion are shifting. Maybe the wings refer to Sora's eventual fall to darkness...?

The funny thing about this chapter is that it must have been written before KH2 came out, right? It's kind of a coincidence that Mulan's world would appear in your story before appearing in KH2.

Oh, Lordy. Not much to say for this chapter; I think that, as the plot progresses, Sora's position as the 'loyal follower' will shift and cause some conflict between him and Riku.

The crucial change in the storyline has ended and SS has officially begun. Oh boy, oh boy!
