| El Gringo Loco 2007-02-04 ch 27, | abuseThis was a good story with a great many ups & down. Not to mention more twists than a corkscrew. It wouldn't happen like this in real life but this is a work of fiction. Amd in fiction, you get to make up your own rules. The whole Parks family, or at least the males sounds like seriously bad news. In real life you'd have everyone from the State Bar Association, and The California State Board for Medicine right on up to the US Supreme Court involved and screaming over their disqusting antics. (I'm fairly certain they'd have found some serious conflicts of interest in here somewhere.) How could Sara, or for that matter anyone, get a fair trial before the father of the man she's accused of killing. A man who, from the sounds of him, would have no qualms about sending an innocent to the Gas Chamber if it suited their own purpose. But as I said before - when writing fiction, you get to make up your own rules. And this was an excellent story. |
| Cherrydrops12 2005-08-13 ch 27, | abusewow, that was just wow. that was such a cool stroy. will you be writing anymore anytime soon? |
| maria 2005-07-24 ch 27, anon. | abusehey, i know this is coming a little late, since you wrote that story in 2002 but i just felt that i need to tell you how much i loved reading your story. i can really relate to sara and her past in your story and i think you just wrote it perfect and without any prejudices. now, it really made me cry most of the time but then again, it had a wonderful ending and i also loved the interaction between the other csi´s and sara. i was kinda sceptical about you writing the story from grissom´s pov but it was just perfect. well, what else can i say? just, thanks for this wonderful story!! maria |
| Nerwen Aldarion 2004-10-16 ch 27, | abuseTHat is the best epilogue ever. Awsome you rule |
| J. Rockwell 2003-09-25 ch 27, | abuseVery long but worth every page, every sentence, every word. Beautiful writing. I enjoyed how it was written in a Grissom POV the most. It's interesting that "Investigating Sara Sidle" was such a great insight to Gil Grissom. Amazing job! *Jorgy* |
| Annie Lune 2003-06-06 ch 27, | abusewow. I totally loved this. I usualy shy away from stories writen from the character's point of view, but this one was SO different, i actually think i was tearing at one point. Or it might just have been because the story was rather long and i was reading it for about an hour. :-D And I loved how greg came to see Sara. that was great. |
| Emma Merritt 2002-12-22 ch 27, anon. | abuseIt was a great story, with a very CSI solving of the case, the best was the epilogue 'cause it touched me so much I cried. Thank you for writing such a magnificent story. |
| ACatFiend2 2002-12-20 ch 27, | abuseWell I finally got back to finish the story. Yeah. Really yeah. This got really fast paced which throws me when I haven't been reading it for awhile. I will definitely keep this as one of my Favorite Stories. Your portrayal of Sara's reaction to Grissom attacking the creep reflected reality. The time involved to get them closer (and yet still not ready for kids, etc.) is reasonable also. The story line of a betrayal by a best friend in this way was a very well thought out piece of suspense and back-tracking. Even the part where Sara was moved to the bed was clever. I will need to read this all over again (sigh, isn't that too, too bad!) and I know I will enjoy it just as much. Hmmmm. With a little work this would make a suspenseful novel ,.....then a great movie and there would be a sequel. Oh, you know what I mean. Thanks for an interesting if frustrating time. |
| Meghan 2002-12-15 ch 27, anon. | abuseOh that was the most beautiful thing I have read in a very, very, VERY long time!! Absolutely fantastic, amazing writing. I actually got chocked up while reading the White Admiral Butterfly scene. You got their personalities down to a tee, I could see the faces and hear what they were saying as I read it. Beautiful, just beautiful. |
| Desirae 2002-12-14 ch 27, | abuseYou've taken us on a beautiful journey with this story. It's been a dark tale that's brought tears, pain, and anger. But in the end you took it and transformed it into a beautiful piece. A White Admiral butterly. Thanks for this and looking forward to your next piece. Lisa |
| Forensiphile 2002-12-13 ch 27, | abuseLovely story! What a beautiful ending. Great job and write more soon! :-D |
| CSIaddict 2002-12-13 ch 27, | abuseThis must be one of the best stories on the whole site! I just love the way you write! It was so sweet. The descriptions were so real like i was standing right there watching everything happen. Please keep writing! |
| thousand-miles 2002-12-13 ch 27, | abuse*crying now* This fic has come to an end but not without a great Epilogue. I loved how you've put this fic together. The most original was that you did this from Grissom's point of view. That's what makes it so...intense. It's a difficult man to understand but you.....it seems like you know him. Truly this is a GREAT fic. The epilogue is beautiful. It's great to see that she's learnd to trust him and that he loved her so much. And hey I'd love the rain to...considering what they did LOL. Again I am sad cause this story has ended. Again, I'm your biggest FAN!!! YOU'RE THE BOMB JANE!! Geena |
| thousand-miles 2002-12-13 ch 26, | abuse*breath in, breath out, nreath in, breath out* Ok I think I have realaxed a bit. I was just thrown of my chair cause of this chapter. Damn you, you're sooooo good. I mean it, you really are THE BOMB!! And thank you. I really am grateful that you put Sara's feelings into this. I truly apologize that you had to change the chapter. But I really really love this. Sara's feelings seem to true and honest to me. I also love that Grissom's hurt by it to. Really the trust thing....honestly that was superb. And the butterfly was a nice methaphore. Great, I mean it, really really great!! I'm going to read the epilogue now!! And I'm going to cry cause I NEVER WANT THIS FIC TO END!!! You know now that I'm your fan!! Geena |
