I really enjoyed this story, good job. If only something like this had happened in S7 :)

Sometimes, I rather Spike left those big family of abusers behind. Who haven't comitted something evil in the show? Almost every character did and even worst too than Spike but they were forgiven in a flash. Sorry for the ranting. I hate abusers really. Good writing. :)

What a delightful story, suitably angsty because...hey, it's Buffy, and she's an angsty little package. Happy endings are great, especially when you're dealing with a storyteller like Joss who just loves to rip our hearts out. Thanks for an ending that left me smiling!

It's only due to the review history feature that I found my way back to this story, so I guess I should be infinitely grateful for said feature. The rest of it was just as good as the beginning. Sweet, yet not too sweet. And the recipe in the second chapter cracked me up.

Brilliant. You made Buffy cute again, Dawn smart again, and - most importantly - you made Spike cool again. I want to take this fic and beat Joss over the head with it while screaming, "Look! Do this!"

I really liked this story. It was so romantic. I wish Spike and Buffy would finally say that they love each other.

This was great. :) The ending threw me a bit by the sudden admission of love from Buffy (I'm not a huge fan of fluff when it comes to B/S), but it was well-written. I liked the talks in the beginning. I kinda wanted to see how Spike would fare in England.

Excellent, excellent story. It felt a little abrupt between Dawn telling Spike he wasn't invited to Thanksgiving and her apology to Buffy about not telling him to come. I would have liked to have seen another (additional) scene between Dawn and Spike, maybe a little more ambiguous, where she's wavering in her resolved hatred. But I truly loved the one you wrote, especially where he invites her to slap him again, and she takes him up on it, but he stops her. I do think the television Buffyverse will get there eventually, but this was a nice Thanksgiving treat. Thank you.
