Usually, the fics which are written well have no ending and the ones that do aren't written that well! This had both and I loved the way the you balanced the plot as well as paying attention the characters. I love the way we get to see how the death of one person, completely separate from all of our main, secondary and even tertiary characters, affects each and every one of them on some level. The way that everything is interwoven and connected is very tightly, brilliantly done. I also love every little glimpse we get of each character, and the characterization for each is perfect. Each scene is well written, interesting and entertaining, evoking emotion and laughter as it should. This may be one of the best short fics I've ever read. P.S. I will read anything that is non-shippy! Yay to non-ship fic! Not that I hate ship fic, but there's SO much of that and so little else. Keep up the great work! |
