The last part was funny, though I think it would be more IC for Hiten to say a few harsh words for getting a rock perpelled at his head.
Another quetion- Does Hiten still have his ability to fly and the Rageki-jin?
I think that both his fire wheels and the Rageki-jin could have been repaired by the swordsmit of the village.

A note-
In the manga, Hiten, instead of biting down on Manten's forehead to retain the jewel shards, he ate Manten's heart.
Just FYI, if you alredy know it, then oh well. I was just saying that because of your cannibal line, that you mentioned in the story.
Hiten has a cannibalistic nature to him, proving that event in the manga, though he only did it to acquire the jewel shards, but yes your actions seem to state differently.

I remember reading this story on Raiden no Kami, before the site went all bersek and decided to shut itself down. I'm a Hiten fan as well, and I wrote Raiden no Ai and Paitience and I drew fanart for the site as well.
Some notes on the story...
Actually, Hiten did put a hole in the snake youkai's face in the manga. In the anime it only showed that he blasted her, but in the manga he punched a hole in her face.
A question: If Ayanami is a priestess, and the duties of a Shinto priestess' duty is supposed to vanquish the evil and purify the world, then how come Ayanami seems so content with the Thunder Brothers, dangerous, blood thirsty youkai, in the presence of her village?
Remember, the Thunder Brothers were known for their distructive power and killing muliple villages for the women for Manten's hair potion.
You do have a good fanfic with a solid idea, though you had an error in punctuation.

There are so few of fanfics that are Thunder Brothers related, though I can see why. They do only last 2 episodes.
