I was pressed to the tv screen with ya hun, they reallllllly need to be together.
I know it's just our fantasy and "for the sanctity" of their relationship we must be happy with the Handler-Double Agent relationship....*sigh*
Some of it was unrealistic to the characters but...we can dream on can't we?

wow! what a great story! the end of the episode had me all excited about what vaughn was going to say, but little crazylegs sydney just sped on out of there! i was like, honey do you not sense the sexiness of vaugh behind you!! hehe--my dad totally saw it coming though, he was like "ev, she's already gone." grrrr. but great ending--that's how things should have been. perfect, perfect, perfect. you are incredibly talented!

Oh, my gosh! I just read all the reviews, and I really think we should start a "Yelling at the TV" club! I was screaming more along the lines of "That's not how you chase the woman you're in love with!" LoL. Anyways...

This was great! No out of characters, no prosfessing of love (and "so take me now"s), and I really liked that someday. Very *real*. But I'm kinda glad that it didn't end like your bit. This way, we can fantasize about what could have happened! Great job!

I thought that was super! I think your characterizatons were dead on. I just can't imagine Vaughn declaring his undying love in the CIA building but the promise of someday was excellent. Maybe 'someday' you'll write that story too.

Good job. Not terribly mushy or overly melodramatic. This was good. And I was screaming at Vaughn, too, at the end of the Counteragent. Evil person, evil writers, plot twists, argh!!!!!

I thought you did Vaughn's voice especially well. I'm glad you made it realistic by not having him declare undying love. Which I'm sure he'd like to, but no way he'd do it now. I like your "someday."

Ok, don't feel bad about the screaming at the TV, I was doing the exact same thing, but wouldn't it have been nice if he caught up to Sid and kissed her?Not that that will ever happen, but one can always dream right? Anyway, write some more, or not, it's kind of perfect just like this.

Hey, honey, I was screaming at the TV, too. And I was watching it on tape after the show had been on, so even if screams could convince the TV to work, I doubt it would work when the event was already history. :D And then, when Syd was gone and Vaughn turned around I told him in no uncertain terms that it was NOT a sign from God that she had left and that he should chase after her. With a few choice words added in.
Anyways, this is the part where I start actually reviewing. This story is great. It's what I wanted to see happen at the end of Counteragent, and I'm glad you put it into words. Right on! :D

yay! this is so cool! :D don't worry, when i was watching the episode i was yelling, "run! run!" and when it showed that sydney was gone, i was all, "Sydney you walk to damn fast!" lol. I was at a dinner party too! the woman that owned the house looked at me weird and laughed. hey, it shows we have passion right? :) i don't know if you are intending for another chapter on this, but that would be cool :D.

I also join the long list of losers for yelling "Go Vaughn Go" at the TV. However, I'm kind of glad he didn't catch up to her. It makes for much more interesting TV when the relationship takes a while to build up, in my opinion atleast. But I like the way you did it in your story! Great job!!!!
