beautifully written, if depressing.

This is a really great story, you can feel the Buffy/Marcie's wearieness. It's wonderful.

Wow. This is powerful and so, so sad. And very artful. And so, so sad. I think the Marcie - was an especially nice touch. It took me most of the story before the connection came rushing home with startling clarity, but when it did . . .

Did I mention how sad this is? In a hopeless kind of way. You did good, real good.

Well, this is a little grim. But between WotW and Anne, we know she's got it in her.

I can't believe Marcie is happy, and mean not even a little--but maybe she feels secure.

What I can't see is "Marcie" ending her pregnancy because the world is too awful a place.

Very evocative.

This is fantastic. I like the way you continuously return to the theme of "She is Marcie" and the way you tie Buffy's disapearance to the Invisible Girl in S1.
